Review || Etude House's Sugar Tint Balm

Hey guys!
I know I know, you guys probably think I'm such a lazy bum for not blogging these days but I have such a hectic uni life this semester and I have no free time to blog (well, 99% of my time dedicated to Youtube world so blame on Youtube for making me procrastinate every time I have free time.)

A-ny-way! I'm back with another review! And this product is super duper new! Yes yes it's Etude House's Sugar Tint Balm! Most of you probably haven't heard about it because it is still super new! I actually haven't heard about it myself until I went to Etude House's store a few days ago. Guess what? I'm in love with this new product!

One thing to keep in mind that I'm not really a Etude House's product lover. I used to buy lots of Etude House's product but since I'm get older, I choose other products that suits my age more (I'm talking like I'm already in my 30s or something lol.) I have no issues while using Etude House's product though but Etude House in Korea is basically a junior and high school make up essentials!

Well, enough with my babbling let's move on to the review, shall we?

BRAND | Etude House
Product Name | "SUGAR TINT BALM"
in Apple Kiss
Type of Product | Tint Balm
Price | KRW 8.000

Etude House's shop that I visit a few days ago. It's still brand new and decoration are way cuter than the normal etude house's shop.
Any way this product have 8 different shades (well the first one on the left have no color whatsoever though)

Here's the swatch from left to right!

Closed up! Which one do you like best?

If you are wondering what the shade looks like when it's applied on your lips, you can see it from the photo above! Well, I have to say that they're not as glossy as the photo show and they're more vivid as well so the color is really build able.

This is the unique part of this product. You have to twist the cap to open it. I personally think this product is much safer to bring with you everywhere. Since some of my lipstick and liptint product have some accident in my bag lol The cap of the product open and spills out inside my bag or smear all over my bag and so on and so on. Sigh. I think this is one of the reason why I choose to buy this product!

Swatch for the shade that I bought, which is Apple Kiss. Super love this red shade! I'm a sucker for red lip color! Anyway this tint balm is moisturizing but only for 1-2 hours depending on how much you applied it on your lips! And the color didn't stay too long as lipstick but it does a great job for a tint balm. It last around 2-3 hours after application (when you didn't eat or drink!) and I think it's not bad!

Me acting all cute inside this cute pink carriage! Too bad I didn't take the carriage photo though... but it looks like the one in Cinderella tale! Except this carriage is in pink color - which is typical Etude House color - and didn't make out of magical pumpkin.

I want a makeup dresser like this please! (Kinda one of my life goals)

Anyway I will end it up with my shameless selfie inside the Etude House's store since the lighting is just perfect! I'm already applying sugar tint balm on my lips!

That's it for today post! It's almost 3 a.m in the morning and I need to get some sleep since it's my flight tomorrow evening! Yes, I'm coming home everyone! So happy and excited! (Except for the skin troubles that always hit me every time I come back to Indonesia!). I promise I will blog more so please be patient! xx

Love always,

Review || 3CE Glass Lip Color #403

Hi everyone! As I've promised in my post before, I am posting a new makeup review tonight! Anyway, it's fall already and soon it will be bloody cold in Korea. Thanks God, I will returned back to Indonesia by the end of December. I can't stand winter and cold weather after all.

A sneaker kind of day.

So let's get started shall we? Today I will be reviewing this product~

BRAND | 3 CONCEPT EYES

Product Name | "3 Concept eyes lip color"
      in #403

Type of Product | Lip Gloss Tint

Price | KRW 17.900

I choose the shade #403 which is the glass red.

Clean and neat packaging as always.

The seal.

When I first take a look at the product, first thing that come in my mind is how this tinted lip gloss looks like a toy. You know the one the fake lipstick that little girls have. I chuckled when I remember how I really treasure my fake lipstick back then and applying it on my lips as well. LOL.

The swatch.
It looks really sheer and moisturizing. I just love it!

When applied on lips. Looks a bit more pinkish after I apply it on my lips and doesn't feel heavy at all I must say! As the name of the product, it's creates a glass lip color. It's perfect for the season too since it's getting colder and my chapped lips are getting worse in this season.

Anyway I use this glass lip color when I'm going to my class and just having a casual day when I just want a clean and innocent look. Looks really pretty right?
What do you think? Do you want to purchase this product?

That's it for the review!
If there's some product you want me to review, please leave a comment below!
I would love to hear your suggestion xx
I hope you enjoy this review and see you guys real soon in my next post!

Review || Canmake Stay-On Balm Rouge

Hello everyone!
image
So here I am with a makeup related post! Are you guys excited?
Today I will be doing a review on Canmake Stay-on Balm Rouge.
This is actually my first time trying out Canmake product but I'm really excited to try it out!

To be honest I would not call this product a lipstick but rather a colored lip balm. It's because the product looks like a lip balm in terms of packaging and appearance, and texture wise, it's a bit too sheer to be called a lipstick.
But I must say it's a combination of a balm, lipstick and gloss rolled into one!

|This series comes in seven shades|

color image [01] Rosier Rose
A delicate, pretty rose pink.

color image [02] Smily Gerbera
A bright, stylish orange.

color image [03] Tiny Sweetpea
A pure red that highlights your complexion.

color image [04] Savonly Lily
A coral beige that blends in beautifully. classical and a casual look.

color image [05] Flowing Cherry Petal
A pink that offers a short-cut to girlishness.

color image [06] Sweet Clematis
Pink Beige which we can use without choosing a sense.

color image [07] Dancing Camellia
This rich red will play a starring role in your make-up.

Unfortunately, they only had 3 shades in Korea.

I purchased mine at OLIVE YOUNG!

For the price, I must say that the amount of product is really good!
Just slap it on and don't worry about it running out soon!

What a pretty color! I always a sucker for red color lip product!

SWATCH TIME!

With Flash

It looks darker on the stick but goes on really nice, balmy & sheer.

LIKE
The price
Cute packaging - comes in a pretty plastic casing with a firm cap! (no accidents!)
Nice variety of shades
Smooth, strong color after one pass
Initially moisturizing
UV protection
Unscented
Pretty up your lips if they're running abit dry/chapped
Looks really natural!

DISLIKE
Too big of an applicator to be precise (some might find the packaging too bulky)
Doesn't last long
I found the plastic seal difficult to remove

What do I think?
This is one of the most comfortable colored lip balms out there because it feels really moist an all, and that it can really help to ease my eternally dry and chapped lips. It's also good for those who hate scented items because this is one of the few lip balms that comes unscented.

However, in terms of longevity, this does not last on my lips for more than an hour! However, if you're more on just wanting to have a sheer tint of color on the lips, there'd still be enough remaining product on the lips after two hours if you're just after lip care.

What I like though is that it does a good job in covering the dry patches on my lips and gives a nice healthy glow to them. Many of the other lip products I've tried tend to emphasize the dry skin further, or some have too dry a formula that instead of moistening the skin the product just make my lips looks chapped!

I can see going to this as a good tinted lip balm for winter and it’s good for casual days with more natural make-up, but I wish it had more staying power and an easier way to apply. I would possibly repurchase since I loved the color so much!

And this is me with a full face of makeup while wearing this lip balm. What I like though is that this is one of the few colors that you can take from a daytime look to a nighttime look-- it looks sassy enough for evening occasions but is not too overpowering so as to catch so much attention in the daytime.

For the price, I'd say that this is not an expensive lip balm. But for something that provides comfort and adequate lip color, this is already a so-so product. However, this will not be worth your money if you're looking for products that need no re-application for the whole day (like eight hours or so). If you, like me, constantly need lip moisture, this product is worth the money though.
