Culture in PoshNosh

Hi everyone! It's been a while eh?

My life have been busier than ever, thanks to the never ending project and homework. Not to mention, final exam week is just around the corner!

P.S. I know you guys probably have been waiting for my skin care blog post and I'm so sorry to keep you waiting for so long! Be patient and it will be up soon I promise!

As I have mention in my previous blog post  here, I told you guys I found a restaurant called "Culture in PoshNosh" and will make a blog post about that restaurant soon.
Guess what?
Out of me and my boyfriend never ending list of restaurants that we need to try, we decided to went there for lunch last weekend.

Now, sit back and enjoy!

Can you spot me?

Having a hard time choosing which menu should I order... hmmm

Boyfie cut his hair shorter. Too SHORT! Every time I told him not to cut his hair too short, he never listen! UGGHHHH!

I be like "AAAAAHHHHH WHY DID YOU CUT YOUR HAIR THAT SHORT!image"
and boyfie be like "It's just some hair. My hair will be long again before you know it!"
I will just staring at his hair, making puppy eyes and he will just laugh it off, patting my head.
This happens every time he get a haircut!

Well, even though I didn't like your hair but I still love you hun, don't worry xx

Yum!

One of my favorite snapshot of the day taken by boyfie

Exposed concrete walls are covered with colorful, eclectic art. The large, open space houses paint-splattered wooden tables and chairs.

P.s. I heard that all of those furniture were made in Bali! My senior talked to the owner once. It makes me - as an Indonesian - proud, don't you think so?

The charm of Posh Nosh is enhanced by a lovely stone-stepping pond in the back. The overall effect is haphazardly elegant.

Those cheeks though...

And then there’s the food.

Posh Nosh offers a well-made array of Italian pastas and stone-oven baked pizzas, decently priced and complimented by an extensive wine and cocktail list (if alcohol isn't your thing, the coffee and tea list is just as gourmet as the rest of the menu).

But its whimsical take on traditional Western dishes is what actually makes the posh nosh.

We would love to give their pizzas a try but unfortunately they had some kitchen problem on the day we went to that restaurant and we can only order pasta. Which is really sucks but oh well, we couldn't do anything about it.

Seafood Cream
17.000 won

It contains seafood (prawns, mussels, squid, etc) and poured with creamy carbonara sauce.

Tobiko
16.000 won

Italian style oil pasta with prawn eggs.
To be honest, I'm not a fan of prawn and it's actually my first time eating prawn eggs! It looks like tobiko but the color of the eggs is white and taste a bit saltier that tobiko! It's also perfectly seasoned and didn't leaves any fishy taste after you eat it.

A private room where you can held a small party. Looks pretty neat!

Colorful, electric art. I saw a lot of interesting painting hanging on the wall. I guess the owner really like art and stuff?

Wire baskets filled with light bulbs make for intriguing chandeliers. So creative!

Stacks of wine.

Posh Nosh is all seamless effort. While many restaurants get either the look or the food right, Posh accomplishes both easily. The ambiance and the food don’t overwhelm each other, but instead create a standout and unexpected dining experience in Busan. Stylish but not overdone, Posh Nosh more than lives up to its name.

HOW TO GET THERE:
From Seomyeon station take exit 2 and go straight until you reach “Education Street” just past the Art Box. Turn left and walk past the Loving Hut and Barbecue Camp. Posh Nosh is on the same side of the street as Metal City, just a block further from it.

Reservations are recommended on weekend nights. Especially if you want to have a seat next to the pond! I managed to have a seat next to the pond because I come there as soon as they are up for business. I come there around 12 I think?

Call here to make a reservation!
